Camilo retired in 2017 after 25 years of service in the U.S. Army. Camilo spent 18 of those years serving in various positions within the U.S. Army Special Forces Command, deploying to 10 countries within Central and South America during contingency, counter-drug, and counter-terrorism operations. Camilo served multiple rotations in Afghanistan, as an active-duty service member, and as an armed contractor from 2002 to 2021.
Camilo's experience enables him to share his firsthand experience in conducting Direct Action, Emergency Assault, and Close Quarter Battle (CQB). Camilo is well versed in small unit tactics. He has operated across the full spectrum of permissive and high-threat environments navigating improvised threats with foreign irregular forces, U.S. conventional forces and Law Enforcement.
