On January 2nd, 2021 Retired Trooper First Class Patrick Dragon #705 of Brooklyn, CT passed away at Hartford Hospital from COVID-19.  Pat was a “proud member” of the 107th Training Troop and entered the State Police Training Academy on January 9, 1998.  Upon graduation, Pat served as a
Patrol Trooper in Danielson, a Resident Trooper in Sterling, a Detective in
the Eastern District Major Crime Squad and as a Detective in the Fire and Explosion Investigation Unit.  Pat was one of the first 1st Responders to 
the Sandy Hook School Shooting.  He retired on Feb. 1, 2018.
Pat was my classmate and he is sorely missed!
